Parkinson Broschüre ist jetzt erhältlich

Ein Forscherteam unseres Hauses hat eine bahnbrechende Entdeckung gemacht, nämlich dass die Gen-Produkte D-Laktat und Glykolat positive Effekte auf angegriffene Zellen haben. Genau das ist das Problem bei der Krankheit Parkinson: Nervenzellen sterben ab, wenn ihre Kraftwerke, die Mitochondrien, nicht mehr richtig funktionieren…mehr soon this brochure will be available in English as well.

ASCB / EMBO meeting 2017

Beginning of December, Tony was as speaker at the doorstep meeting on cell biology of degeneration and repair in the nervous system, as part of the ASCB / EMBO meeting in Philadelphia. On the same meeting Richard and Titus presented their work in a minisymposium on protein folding, misfolding and neurodegeneration. Congratulations to all speakers!
